Silenced Box-Type Breakers
Breakers enclosed in a fully boxed housing with internal damping, used for urban demolition, road work and any site with a noise limit. The housing protects the cylinder as much as it quietens the tool.
Features
- A fully enclosed housing with elastomer damping reduces radiated noise and structure-borne vibration into the carrier.
- Side plates take the side loading that occurs when a tool is levered, which is the usual cause of cylinder damage on unenclosed breakers.
- Enclosed hoses and fittings survive demolition work where a top-mount breaker would tear a hose.
- Higher operating weight for a given energy class, so carrier matching has to be rechecked when moving from a top-mount unit.
- Wear plates inside the housing are replaceable, and replacing them on schedule keeps the cylinder aligned.
