Rotating Telehandler
Telehandler with a slewing turntable, so the machine is set on stabilisers once and then works through a full circle. Used where repositioning is slow or impossible: courtyards, over a boundary, congested sites.
Features
- Continuous or near-continuous slew means one set-up covers a whole working area, which is where the time is saved.
- Almost always used on stabilisers, because the chart on wheels is a fraction of the chart when set.
- With a hook, winch or basket it takes on crane and access duties, each with its own examination interval and operator competence requirement.
- Purchase and service cost sit above a fixed-boom machine of similar reach, so it earns that back only where set-up time dominates.
