Low-profile articulated trucks for decline and drift haulage. Drift dimensions, ventilation and turning geometry set the specification long before payload does.
Features
- Overall height and width are the first constraints, because the truck has to clear the drift profile with services in place.
- Articulated steering with a short turning radius is what allows work in a standard drift and at a turning bay.
- Ejector and scissor bodies discharge without raising a tipping body into the back, which matters where headroom is fixed.
- Exhaust treatment and engine emission level feed straight into ventilation design and therefore into running cost.
- Fire suppression, remote isolation and an enclosed cab with filtration are standard requirements rather than options underground.
