Rigid diffuser work light
A diffused fitting with a moulded translucent shade instead of an inflated envelope. No fan to fail and nothing to puncture, at the cost of a bulkier packed size.
Features
- With no fan and no inflation there is nothing to fail mid-shift and nothing to puncture on site.
- The shade is robust enough for tunnel and plant-room work where an inflatable envelope would not survive.
- Diffusion is slightly less even than an inflated sphere, so glare is low but not as low.
- Packed size is larger and fixed, which matters when a van carries several units.
- Shades clean rather than replace, so the consumable cost is lower than an envelope type over the same life.
