Tracked Asphalt Pavers
Crawler-mounted pavers for main carriageway, motorway and airfield work. The track undercarriage holds line and grade on unbound base where a wheeled machine would wander.
Features
- Long track contact length averages out irregularities in the base, which is what produces a flat mat.
- Rubber-padded tracks let the machine work on completed surfaces without marking them.
- Traction across a soft base is what allows a full hopper and a wide screed to be pushed at constant speed.
- Track tension and pad condition are daily checks; a slack track shows up as a rhythmic mark in the mat.
- Transport needs a low-loader in most configurations once screed extensions are fitted.
