Graders around 14 to 18 t for road maintenance, site formation and sub-base trimming. The usual choice where one grader has to cover several tasks.
Features
- A 3 660 mm moldboard covers a single carriageway lane in one pass on most road-maintenance work.
- Front-mounted scarifiers are specified where the machine re-forms compacted gravel roads rather than trimming fresh fill.
- Blade float lets the moldboard follow an existing surface instead of cutting into it, which is how a haul road is bladed clean.
- Push blocks and rear ripper attachments extend the machine into light dozing and breaking work.
- Cross-slope control is enough for most maintenance; model-based control suits new formation held to tolerance.
