Trailer and Static Concrete Pumps
Pumps without a boom, towed or skid-mounted, that push concrete through a laid pipeline. Used for long-distance, high-lift and confined pours where a boom cannot reach.
Features
- Without a boom, the whole output goes into line pressure, which is what makes very long or very high conveying possible.
- Diesel and electric drive versions exist; electric is usual inside tunnels, basements and enclosed structures.
- Pipeline layout dominates performance - each bend and each vertical section adds resistance equivalent to many metres of straight pipe.
- Hopper height and grille arrangement decide whether a truck mixer can discharge directly or needs a chute.
- Maximum aggregate size is a hard limit; exceeding it blocks the line rather than merely slowing it.
