Placing Booms
Separate hydraulic distribution booms mounted on a mast, a climbing frame or a trailer, fed by a static pump. They cover a slab or core continuously without repositioning a pump truck.
Features
- Mounting decides the application: trailer-mounted for slabs at low level, mast or climbing-mounted for a rising core or tower.
- Slewing through a full circle covers the whole pour radius from one position without moving the feed line.
- A self-climbing mast advances with the structure, which removes crane time from every lift of the boom.
- Boom section count and fold pattern govern the clearance needed under a soffit or inside a formwork system.
- Wind loading governs the permissible working and parked configuration, so a placing boom needs a stated wind limit and a park position.
