Knuckle-Boom Loader Crane
Articulated crane that folds compactly behind the cab and reaches over the body or around an obstruction, for delivery work where the load has to be placed past a fence or through a gap.
Features
- The articulated boom reaches over and then down, which is how a load is placed below the vehicle's own level or behind a wall.
- Folded stowage keeps the crane inside the vehicle profile and preserves body length for cargo.
- Fly jibs add reach but subtract capacity and add dead weight ahead of the main boom.
- Load-holding valves and hose burst protection are the components that matter when the load passes over a public footpath.
- Radio remote with a graphic load display is normal practice and reduces the need for a second person on site.
