Trailer-mounted silenced generator set
A silenced set on a braked road trailer, moved by a pickup or van between sites. The standard hire-fleet machine for temporary supply and events.
Features
- The trailer is part of the specification: braked or unbraked, single or twin axle, and with a coupling that matches the towing fleet.
- Nose weight and gross trailer weight limits on the towing vehicle are the practical ceiling on set size, usually well before the engine is.
- A bunded base tank sized for a weekend is the usual hire configuration, so nobody attends the set on a Sunday.
- Lockable doors on all four sides and a jockey wheel with a wheel clamp are what keep the unit on site overnight.
- Earth spike, tails and a socket outlet panel are normally supplied with the set rather than bought separately.
