Skid-mounted silenced generator set
The same silenced set on a lifting skid instead of a trailer, craned or forked into position and left. Cheaper than a trailer version and available in larger outputs.
Features
- A single certified central lifting eye lets the set be placed by site crane without a spreader beam.
- Forklift pockets in the skid mean a telehandler can reposition it without rigging.
- With no chassis or road-legal requirement, the same output costs less and weighs less than the trailer version.
- Skid sets reach outputs a trailer cannot legally tow, which is where the large temporary-supply machines sit.
- The skid is normally the bund, so the drain plug and its seal are inspection items at every service.
