Handheld Hydraulic Rock Drills
Hydraulically driven handheld drills run from a power pack or carrier circuit. Higher energy per kilogram than pneumatic equivalents and much quieter in use.
Features
- More energy is delivered per kilogram of tool weight than a pneumatic drill of similar size.
- No exhaust air means substantially lower noise, which matters in enclosed and urban work.
- Oil flow and pressure have to match the tool's window; a mismatched power pack shows up as low energy or overheating.
- Power pack fuel or electrical supply becomes part of the site logistics in place of a compressor.
- Hose management is a real working issue, and quick couplers with flat faces reduce contamination.
