Reach Stacker
Boom machine with a telescopic spreader that reaches over the first row to lift laden containers from the second and third rows, and off a road chassis or rail wagon. The most flexible single machine in a small or mid-sized terminal.
Features
- Reaches across rows, so the yard can be stacked deeper than with a machine that only lifts from the row in front of it.
- Third-row capacity, not first-row capacity, is the figure that decides whether the yard plan works.
- Handles rail wagons and road chassis as well as the stack, which is what lets one machine cover a small intermodal terminal.
- The boom-mounted spreader gives high tier reach but puts large loads through the front axle, so pavement approval is part of the purchase.
- The attachment can be changed for a piggyback frame or a hook for project cargo, each with its own chart.
