Tiltrotator
Unit between coupler and attachment giving tilt and continuous rotation, so a bucket or grab can be worked at any angle without moving the machine. Changes how an excavator is used more than any other attachment.
Features
- Tilt of roughly 40 degrees each way plus continuous 360 degree rotation under load.
- Lets a machine grade slopes, trim batters and lay pipe bedding from one position instead of repositioning repeatedly.
- Integrated hydraulic outlets so a grab, compactor or cutter can be run through the rotator.
- Needs a proportional control installation, valve block and cab controls on the carrier.
- Adds mass and length between dipper and tool, so lift and breakout at reach drop measurably.
