Trailer Axle Tyre
High-load radial for semi-trailer and drawbar axles, built to resist lateral scrub and kerbing rather than to transmit drive. Usually the largest single tyre line in a haulage fleet by count.

- Reinforced sidewall and bead area for the sideways loading multi-axle trailers generate when turning.
- Shallow, closely spaced ribs that keep rolling resistance down over long distances.
- Kerb protection rib on the sidewall, since trailer tyres take most of the loading-bay damage.
- Low rolling resistance classes worth specifying, because a semi-trailer set is six tyres against a tractor's ten.
- Casings suitable for retreading where the operator runs a managed casing pool.
