Hose Assemblies & Fittings

Hydraulic Hose Assemblies

Hose crimped to length with the end fittings the machine uses, made from the failed assembly or from a measured drawing. Cut, crimped, flushed and capped on the bench.

Features

  • Made from a sample, a drawing or a marked-up length of string; overall length is taken between sealing faces so the replacement routes the way the original did.
  • Ferrule and fitting are matched as a system, because mixing a fitting from one series with a ferrule from another gives a crimp the chart does not cover.
  • Impulse-rated constructions are used where the circuit sees pressure spikes rather than steady pressure, which is most breaker, clamp and travel work.
  • Spiral guard, spring guard or a sleeve can be fitted where two hoses rub or where a line crosses a sharp edge.
  • Assemblies can be tagged with a line number so a fitter replacing one in a year's time can order it by tag rather than by measurement.

Specifications

Figure Typical range Unit Why it matters
Bore 10 mm fixes flow velocity and the fitting series that can be crimped to it
Working pressure 350 bar compared against relief setting plus spike allowance
Length between sealing faces 1 250 mm the only length measurement that reproduces the original routing
End 1 / End 2 90 degree elbow / straight swivel elbow orientation decides whether the hose clears the machine
Guard or sleeve spiral guard, full length abrasion is the second most common cause of hose failure after bend radius
