Breathers, Coolers and Reservoir Fittings
Desiccant and mesh breathers, air-blast and water-cooled heat exchangers, level gauges, temperature switches, suction strainers and filler assemblies for reservoirs.
Features
- A desiccant breather is the cheapest way to keep water out of a machine that stands outside between shifts.
- Air-blast coolers are sized on heat to be rejected in kW and on the temperature difference available, not on flow alone.
- Level and temperature switches let a machine stop itself before it damages a pump, which is worth more than a gauge nobody reads.
- Suction strainers protect the pump from large debris, and a blocked one shows up as cavitation rather than as a filter warning.
- Filler and drain arrangements decide whether oil can be added and sampled cleanly, which is usually the difference between an oil programme that works and one that does not.
Specifications

| Airflow or heat rejection | 3 - 40 | kW | coolers are sized on heat, not on oil flow |
| Temperature difference available | 25 | K | a cooler in a hot plant room performs far below its rating |
| Connection size | G 1 1/4 | restriction here shows up as return-line back pressure | |
| Switch setting | 70 warn, 80 stop | degrees C | the points at which the machine protects itself |
