Offline Filtration Units
Trolley and fixed kidney-loop units that circulate reservoir oil through fine filtration or water removal while the machine keeps working. Used to recover oil rather than replace it.
Features
- Circulating a reservoir several times through fine filtration removes particles that in-line filters recirculate.
- Water-removing units separate free and dissolved water, which no particle filter will do.
- A trolley unit can also be used to filter new oil into a machine, since new oil from a drum is often dirtier than the target cleanliness.
- Flow rate and element size are matched to reservoir volume so a pass takes a sensible number of hours.
- Sampling before and after gives a defensible before-and-after cleanliness figure rather than an impression of improvement.
