Concrete Mixer Chassis
Rigid chassis prepared for a rotating drum, with the frame, PTO and cooling specified for a load that turns continuously while the vehicle is moving. The drum volume decides the axle count, not the other way round.
Features
- Frame and rear bogie rated for the constant off-centre load of a rotating drum rather than a static payload.
- Continuous-duty PTO and hydraulic circuit with an oil cooler, because drum drive runs on the road as well as on site.
- Rear overhang and frame height set for the chute arrangement and the discharge height the site needs.
- Water tank mounting points and an air line for the wash-out system specified at build.
- Axle count follows drum volume: a 7 m3 drum normally needs four axles once water and drum mass are included.
Specifications
