Construction Tipper Chassis
Short-wheelbase rigid chassis for tipper bodies working between quarry, batching plant and site. Built around axle loads and ground clearance rather than road fuel economy.
Features
- Heavy-section frame with a reinforced rear cross-member for the tipping pivot and a front-mounted or under-body ram arrangement.
- Driven front axle available for site exits and unmade haul roads, with a differential lock on the rear bogie.
- Gearbox PTO and a hydraulic tank sized to the tipping gear, with the pump take-off specified before the body is mounted.
- Raised air intake and protected lighting for dust and stone strike, plus a steel bumper instead of a moulded aerodynamic panel.
- Steel-sprung or air-sprung rear bogie; steel takes the abuse and air lets the body sit level for loading.
