Electric mechanical diaphragm pump
The same mechanical diaphragm pump end driven by an electric motor, for sites with a supply. Quieter, with no exhaust, and suited to enclosed or occupied locations.
Features
- No exhaust makes it usable in basements, shafts and enclosed structures where an engine cannot run at all.
- Dry running remains harmless, so a float switch is a convenience rather than a protection requirement.
- A 230 V single-phase motor at this size plugs into an ordinary site board without a starter.
- Motor protection rating needs to suit a wet, splashed location even though the motor itself is not submerged.
- Trailing cable is the practical limit on how far along a works it can be moved.
