Electric Power Packs
Three-phase and single-phase packs for workshops, test rigs, presses and fixed machinery, with the pump on a tank-top or immersed mounting and valving on the manifold.
Features
- Tank-top mounting keeps the footprint small; immersed pumps run quieter and start more easily on cold oil.
- Manifold-mounted valving reduces the number of joints, which is the main source of leaks on a pack that lives in a clean area.
- Star-delta or soft starting is specified where the supply or the installation limits inrush current.
- Thermostatic control of a heat exchanger is worth fitting on anything running more than a short cycle, because oil above about 60 degrees C ages quickly.
- A drip tray and bunded base are often a site requirement rather than an option, and they change the frame dimensions.
