Extended-run diesel light tower
An LED tower with an oversized base tank, built so nobody visits it between deliveries. Specified for motorway works, remote compounds and possessions where access itself is the cost.
Features
- The point of the machine is the fuel visit it removes: at typical LED loads a large base tank runs for several hundred hours.
- A bunded base tank holding 110 % of the fuel volume is normally required wherever the unit sits near a drain or watercourse.
- Long unattended intervals make remote monitoring worthwhile — fuel level, engine hours and fault state reported without a site visit.
- Standing fuel picks up water over long periods, so a water-separating filter and a draw-off point are part of the specification.
- The larger tank raises transport weight, which can push the unit past a van's towing limit — check the gross figure, not the dry one.
