Four-Wheel Electric Forklift
The general-purpose electric counterbalance truck, from about 1.5 t to 5 t, for mixed indoor and yard duty. Steadier at height and on uneven ground than a three-wheel truck, at the cost of turning room.
Features
- The wider rear track holds residual capacity better at full lift and with attachments fitted.
- Available with conventional or drop-out battery boxes; a side-extraction box turns a multi-shift battery change into a two-minute job instead of a crane lift.
- Pneumatic or superelastic tyres let the truck cross yard and dock surfaces that stop a cushion-tyre machine.
- Automatic park brake and speed reduction with the mast raised are standard on current machines and worth confirming on used stock.
- Above roughly 3.5 t the running cost starts to converge with a diesel of the same capacity, so duty cycle and charging decide it.
