Kelly-driven rigs for large-diameter bored piles in dry, cased or fluid-supported bores. The general-purpose foundation rig for building cores, bridge foundations and retaining walls.
Features
- One rig covers augering, bucket drilling, core barrel work and rock drilling by changing tools rather than machines.
- Torque and crowd together decide progress in cemented sands, weak rock and obstructions.
- Temporary casing or support fluid stabilises the bore above the water table, and the method has to suit the ground investigation.
- Mast rake adjustment allows raked piles and correction of verticality during drilling.
- Depth, torque and verticality logging per pile produces the as-built record the design is checked against.
