Valve Bank Repair
Repair of mobile and industrial valve banks: spool and bore assessment, seal replacement, relief and port relief resetting, and section replacement where a bore is beyond repair.
Features
- Bores are measured and inspected first, since a scored bore cannot be recovered by fitting new seals.
- Relief and port relief settings are reset on the bench to the machine's figures and recorded on the job card.
- Spool return springs and detents are checked, because a spool that does not centre reliably is a safety matter rather than a comfort one.
- Sectional banks can be repaired section by section, which keeps the cost proportional to the fault.
- Where a bank is obsolete, we say whether a rebuild or a replacement bank with matched functions is the better route.
