Features
- Retention systems are series-specific, and a pin from another series is the usual reason tips end up in the crusher.
- Rubber-locked pins rely on the rubber element for retention, so the element is replaced with the pin rather than reused.
- Hammerless locks are turned with a key or bar, which removes hammer damage to the adapter nose and speeds up change-out.
- Pins are consumables: fitting a new tip on a used pin is the shortcut that costs the adapter.
- Vertical and horizontal pin systems carry load differently, and one bucket can use both across teeth and shrouds.
