Cutting Edges, End Bits and Grader Blades
Bolt-on edges for dozer and loader blades, corner end bits, and grader mouldboard blades in flat, curved and serrated forms. Rolled from alloy steel and heat treated through the section.
Features
- Grader blades are supplied flat, curved and serrated; serrated blades cut into hard-packed surfaces and are often run ahead of flat blades.
- End bits and corner protectors take the highest load per millimetre and are replaced more often than the centre edge.
- Edges are drilled to the machine's existing hole pattern, so hole diameter, spacing and countersink type are the ordering dimensions.
- Double-bevel edges can be turned end for end once, which doubles life where the wear pattern is even.
- Through-hardened alloy steel holds cutting geometry as it wears instead of rounding off the way mild steel does.
