Fresh air and recirculation filters for operator cabs, in particulate and activated carbon types, for machines working in dust or around fumes.
Features
- Cab filters protect the operator and the air conditioning evaporator; a blocked filter usually shows up first as weak cooling.
- Fresh air and recirculation positions take different elements, and most cabs have both.
- Activated carbon elements reduce odour and fume ingress where machines work near asphalt, landfill or chemical handling.
- A pressurised cab only stays pressurised while seals and filter are serviceable, so door and window seals are checked with the filter.
- In heavy dust the practical change interval is often far shorter than the machine book figure.
