Features
- Primary and safety elements work as a pair: the safety element catches what escapes during primary changes and protects the engine if the primary fails.
- Elements are changed on restriction measured at the indicator, not on appearance, because a dirty-looking element can still be within limits.
- Cleaning pleated paper elements with compressed air damages the media and costs more in engine wear than a new element saves.
- Radial seal elements seal on the inner diameter against the housing spigot, which tolerates vibration better than an axial gasket.
- Pre-cleaners and cyclonic housings cut the dust load reaching the element and lengthen service life on haul roads and crushing plant.
