Coolant Filters and Conditioners
Spin-on coolant filters with and without chemical additive, for engines that specify coolant filtration. The additive charge is stated per element.
Features
- Coolant filters trap casting debris and scale that would otherwise erode the water pump seal and block the oil cooler.
- Additive-charged elements release corrosion inhibitor as coolant passes, keeping liner protection in range between coolant changes.
- Additive charge is matched to system volume; an over-charged system drops additive out of solution and blocks passages.
- Non-charged elements are used where the coolant already carries a full additive package, and mixing the two regimes causes gelling.
- Coolant condition is checked with test strips at service so filtration and additive decisions rest on readings.
Specifications
