Features
- Full-flow filters protect the engine on every pass; bypass filters clean a small share of flow to a finer rating and extend oil life.
- Anti-drain-back valves keep the filter primed at shutdown, which shortens the dry period at the next start.
- The bypass valve setting inside the filter matters on cold starts, where thick oil would otherwise burst the media.
- Change interval follows the oil specification and duty cycle together, not the filter alone.
- Cutting open a used element at overhaul says more about engine condition than an oil sample on its own.
