Disclaimer
This page sets out how far you may rely on what this website says. It sits alongside our terms of use, which govern use of the site generally, and our privacy notice, which covers personal data.
Our terms of use are the governing document. Where anything on this page appears to conflict with them, they prevail, and nothing here widens or narrows what they say about liability, copyright, linked sites or manufacturer references.
How far you may rely on what we publish
We prepare these pages ourselves, with care and to the best of our knowledge, and we are responsible for them. What we cannot do is warrant that every statement is complete, current and accurate in every particular: a catalogue of other manufacturers’ equipment changes underneath whoever is describing it.
Where a page carries material somebody else created, that is marked as such, and we act on any notice that it infringes a right or is otherwise unlawful. Nothing on this site is an offer, a quotation or a commitment; those are the documents we send you.
Technical data, ratings and fitment
Specifications, capacities, ratings, tolerances, service intervals and compatibility listings in the catalogue are indicative. Machines are modified in service, manufacturers supersede parts, and one model designation can cover several build standards. A listing is a starting point for a conversation, not a certification that a part is right for your machine.
Before fitting anything, follow the equipment manufacturer’s own documentation and the applicable safety rules, and have the work done by a competent person. Where selection, rating or application is in any doubt, ask us with the machine and its serial number and we will confirm it against current data rather than against the page.
A selection made from this website alone, without that confirmation, is made on your own judgement — subject always to the liability we accept under our terms of use, which this sentence does not limit.
No professional advice
Nothing on this website is engineering, legal, safety or regulatory advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship between us. Where a decision carries risk to people or plant, take advice from somebody qualified to give it for your situation.
