Articulating Boom Lift
Boom lift with one or more knuckles, for reaching up and over plant, roofs and structure to work behind an obstruction. Electric versions work indoors; diesel four-wheel-drive versions work open sites.
Features
- Up-and-over clearance is the figure that distinguishes these machines. Without needing it there is no reason to choose a knuckle over a telescopic boom.
- A jib at the platform end gives final positioning without moving the main boom, which is what makes steelwork and services connections practical.
- Electric versions with a narrow chassis and non-marking tyres pass through double doors and work on finished floors.
- Outreach and capacity interact, and most machines restrict the platform to one person at maximum outreach.
