Telescopic Boom Lift
Straight-boom platform for the greatest height and outreach, from about 20 m to over 55 m working height. Used on tanks, bridges, steel frames and facades where the machine cannot get close to the work.
Features
- Gives more horizontal outreach than any other self-propelled platform, which is the reason to accept its size and weight.
- Cannot reach over an obstruction; if there is structure between the machine and the work, an articulating boom is the right machine.
- Above about 40 m, axle loads and transport weight usually govern site access before reach does.
- Wind and platform load limits tighten as the boom extends, and the control system enforces them by cutting functions.
