Rough Terrain Scissor Lift
Diesel or hybrid scissor lift with four-wheel drive and levelling jacks, for external facade work, industrial construction and yards. Larger platform and higher capacity than a boom lift at the same height.
Features
- Four-wheel drive, an oscillating axle and levelling jacks let it set up on ground that stops an electric scissor lift.
- Levelling has to be re-checked after every move; a scissor lift is only safe with the chassis level inside its stated tolerance.
- Platform capacities to 750 kg exist in this class, which is what makes it useful for glazing and cladding.
- Hybrid versions run the platform on battery indoors and the engine outdoors, avoiding a second machine on mixed sites.
