- Stage V engines carry a particulate filter, so confirm the duty cycle reaches regeneration temperature or specify active regeneration.
- Load-sensing hydraulics reduce fuel burn and oil temperature while the mast is idle, which matters on trucks that travel far between lifts.
- Fork positioners and sideshift cut handling time on mixed pallet and pack sizes, but they take capacity off the plate.
- Service intervals and filter access decide the real cost of a yard truck more than fuel consumption does.
