Inclined Vibrating Screens
Circular-motion screens running on an incline, used for dry sizing of aggregate and ore. The highest capacity per square metre of deck, and the simplest to maintain.
Features
- Circular motion with gravity assistance gives high travel rates and high capacity for a given deck area.
- Slope and speed are the adjustments used to trade travel rate against screening efficiency.
- Two and three deck arrangements make multiple cuts in one machine, at the cost of headroom in the structure.
- Simple single-shaft drives with sealed bearing housings keep maintenance short.
- Efficiency falls off on wet or sticky feed, which is where a horizontal screen is the better answer.
