Internal Poker Vibrators
Immersion vibrators with an eccentric head on a flexible hose or shaft, used to compact concrete in walls, columns, slabs and foundations. Head diameter is the specification that matters.
Features
- Head diameter is chosen to pass between reinforcement and to give a radius of action suited to the section thickness.
- High-frequency heads with an internal motor need a frequency converter but remove the drive unit and flexible shaft entirely.
- Mechanical-shaft units are robust and easily repaired on site, and the shaft is a replaceable consumable.
- Insertion should be vertical, rapid and withdrawn slowly, with insertion points spaced to overlap the radius of action.
- Hose and head bearing wear are the normal failure points, and both are routine replacement items rather than warranty repairs.
