Power Trowels and Vibrating Screeds
Walk-behind and ride-on power trowels, vibrating beam screeds and truss screeds for floating and finishing slabs. Timing against the concrete's set governs the result more than the machine does.
Features
- Float pans are used for the early passes and blades for finishing; changing over too early or too late shows in the surface.
- Ride-on trowels cover large floor areas quickly but cannot reach edges and corners, so a walk-behind machine is still needed.
- Vibrating beam screeds strike off and level in one pass and are specified by the span they can cross without deflecting.
- Truss screeds cover wide bays on a supported frame and are the usual answer on industrial floor pours.
- Blade pitch adjustment is what keeps the machine working as the surface hardens through the finishing window.
