Mains vertical mast light tower
A compact vertical-mast tower with no engine, fed from the site board. The cheapest high-density lighting unit where a supply is available along the works.
Features
- With no engine, tank or alternator the unit is light enough that towing and nose weight stop being constraints.
- Several units on one circuit is the normal arrangement, so the circuit design rather than the tower is the limiting factor.
- Cable management across a linear works is the real job — voltage drop and trip hazard both scale with the run.
- The narrow chassis and short stowed height mean a high number fit on a load, which is the point of the format.
- Silent and emission-free, so it needs no noise consent argument at all.
