Rubber Screening Panels
Moulded rubber screen panels and modular systems for top and intermediate decks, with steel or fabric reinforcement, made to aperture and fixing type.
Features
- Rubber absorbs impact, so it is normally specified for the top deck where feed drops straight from the crusher.
- Noise at the screen falls noticeably against woven wire, which matters on sites with boundary noise limits.
- Tapered apertures open downward, which reduces pegging of near-size particles in the panel.
- Steel-reinforced panels hold aperture under heavy load; fabric-reinforced panels flex more and handle sticky feed better.
- Rubber weighs more per square metre than woven cloth, so converting a deck from wire to rubber changes the vibrating mass and the drive and bearing duty are checked before the order is placed.
