Track Chains
Chain supplied without shoes, for machines whose shoes still have life or where shoe width is being changed. Link bodies are forged, with the rail surface induction hardened.
Features
- Rail hardness depth matters more than surface hardness alone, because roller contact loads act below the skin.
- Pin and bushing press fits are held to a set interference; a loose joint pumps lubricant out and turns pitch elongation into a fast failure.
- Pitch elongation is measured across several links at once and then divided, because a single link reading exaggerates wear.
- Available with steel sealed joints, polyurethane sealed joints, or as plain grease-lubricated chain for repairable applications.
- Chain ordered for a re-shoe is checked against the existing shoe bolt hole spacing and bolt diameter.
