Equalizer Bars
Alloy steel equalizer bars that tie the two track frames to the dozer main frame while letting them oscillate over uneven ground. Available bare or with pins, bushings and end caps.
Features
- The bar takes oscillating load continuously, so the centre pin bore and end bushings wear before the bar body does.
- Worn equalizer bar bushings show up as track frame movement and uneven chain wear from side to side.
- Supplied bare or fitted with centre pin, end pins, bushings and shims, depending on what the workshop can press.
- Shim packs set end clearance, and running without correct shimming loads the pin in bending.
- Bar geometry differs between machine generations even where the model designation is unchanged, so the serial number decides.
