Pins and Bushings
Hardened pins and bushings for chain repair and for pin-and-bushing turning, where the worn joint is rotated to present an unworn surface. Supplied loose or as matched sets per chain.
Features
- Turning pins and bushings restores chain pitch and joint clearance, and is normally viable once before the chain is scrapped.
- Pin hardness and case depth are matched to the bushing so wear is shared rather than concentrated in one part.
- Press fit interference is specified per series; a joint pressed outside tolerance loosens and elongates pitch quickly.
- Seal kits, thrust rings and end plugs are ordered with the set, because reusing old seals wastes the rebuild.
- Bushing outside diameter and length separate series that otherwise share a pitch.
