Features
- Cylinder kits supply piston, rings, liner, pin and seals as a matched set, which removes the risk of mixing tolerances.
- Liner protrusion is shimmed and measured at several points around the bore before the head goes on.
- Wet liner seal rings are replaced with the liner and fitted dry or lubricated exactly as specified, because a rolled seal puts coolant in the sump.
- Piston crown design differs between build variants of one engine and changes compression ratio and emissions behaviour.
- Ring end gap is checked in the actual liner rather than assumed from the box.
