Crusher Liners and Wear Parts

Jaw plates, cone bowl liners and mantles, blow bars, apron liners, toggle plates and the fixings and backing material that hold them. Wear cost per tonne lives here.

Features

  • Manganese steel liners work-harden in service, so a liner run at too low a load never reaches its intended hardness.
  • Alloy selection trades wear life against cracking risk, and the right choice depends on feed abrasiveness and impact level, not on price per kilogram.
  • Chamber profile, not only alloy, sets both wear pattern and product grading, and a worn profile changes grading before it changes output.
  • Liner backing material has to be mixed and cured properly; a void behind a liner cracks it long before it wears out.
  • Discard limits are stated for each liner; running past them costs product specification and risks damaging the crusher body.
