Rubber Screen Panels
Wear-resistant rubber panels, tensioned or modular, with cord or wire reinforcement. Much longer life than wire on abrasive dry feed, and substantially quieter.
Features
- Reinforcement, usually a high-tensile cord or wire layer, is what lets a rubber panel be tensioned without stretching.
- Life on abrasive dry feed is typically several times that of a wire cloth of the same aperture.
- Panels are noticeably quieter than wire, which matters where a plant sits near a boundary with a noise condition.
- Lighter than heavy-gauge wire of the same aperture, which makes deck changes a two-person job rather than a lift.
- Open area is lower than wire, so a change from wire to rubber usually needs the deck's aperture reviewed to keep capacity.
