High-load radial or bias tyre for wheeled crane carriers, rated from a pressure and speed chart. The fitment has to satisfy both travel on the road and the crane's own axle load configuration.

- Stiff sidewall that limits deflection when the crane stands on its tyres rather than on outriggers.
- Road-biased tread for motorway transit between sites, with site traction as a secondary consideration.
- Available in matched sets, since crane axle loading makes diameter mismatch worse than on a truck.
- Replacement often driven by age and sidewall condition rather than remaining tread depth.
