Wheel Loader Tyre
L-code tyre for wheel loaders, chosen by how abrasive the stockpile is and how far the machine travels per cycle. The most application-sensitive tyre on most construction sites.
Features
- L2 for soft ground and snow, L3 for general construction, L4 and L5 for quarry rock and slag with progressively deeper tread.
- Bias construction for maximum sidewall protection, radial for cooler running on longer load-and-carry cycles.
- Cut-resistant compound where the machine works in blasted rock or recycled concrete.
- Compatible with tyre protection chains on the deeper tread classes, which multiplies life in abrasive material.
- Tread depth should be matched to cycle distance: a deep L5 on a long load-and-carry run overheats before it wears out.
